Folsom Women's Service Club
Our mission is to raise funds to provide college scholarships to graduating seniors attending public high schools in Folsom.

ACTIVITIES
The CRAFTERS group meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at the Folsom Senior Center, 50 Natoma St, Folsom, CA 95630. We meet from 12:30 to 3:00. Members can bring a brown bag lunch at noon. Snacks are shared at each meeting. The group can learn to make crafts, knitted and crocheted items, jewelry, ceramics, wall hangings, paintings, Christmas decorations, and other craft techniques to sell at the Annual Craft, Bake and Plant Sale. The club depends heavily on this sale for funding scholarships and other community service projects.
The GARDEN FOODIES group meets on the 4th Thursday of each month (except November and December) at the homes of its members. Meeting starts at 11:00 a.m. and is a POT LUCK. Be sure to advise the hostess that you are coming and what you will bring! Besides lunch, they share gardening tips, food, and recipe information and sometimes samples. They do yearly luncheons outings and may take field trips to local points of interest. They contribute to the Annual Craft, Plant, and Bake Sale, and to the Fashion Show by selling plants, floral arrangements and food items.

The BOOK LOVERS group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at noon at homes of its members. (Contact Diane Knight at 916-989-4224 for meeting details.) Favorite books are voted on by the members to select a list of 12 finalists for the year. They review and have lively discussions of their monthly selections at their meetings. They also oversee the "Books for Bucks" collection of gently used, donated books to raise monies for the club's scholarship fund.
For those interested in playing bridge, we have a BRIDGE BUDDIES group.
We meet monthly, 1st or 2nd Wednesday at 11:30
a.m. at various members' homes.
